WORSHIP IS A RELATIONSHIP
John 4:21-24

Jesus said to the woman at the well, “Believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship(proskun=to kiss toward) the Father.  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true (alethunos=real, genuine, sincere) worshippers(theosebes=one who venerates God) shall worship(proskun=to kiss toward) the Father(pater) in spirit(pneuma) and in truth(aletheia=absolute truth even as the Lord is the truth); for the Father(pater) seeketh(zeteo=to seek, desire, require) such to worship(proskun=to kiss toward) him.  God is a Spirit(pneuma): and they that worship(proskun) him must worship (proskun) him in spirit(pneuma) and truth(aletheia=absolute truth even as the Lord is the truth).”

WORSHIP IS NOT…

  1. Worship is not a place or location!
  2. Worship is not a meeting or agenda!
  3. Worship is not of the natural or flesh!

WORSHIP IS…

  1. Worship is a relationship of intimacy with God in the heavenlies!

  1. Worship is a relationship of edifying believers in the Body!

  1. Worship is a relationship of making disciples in the world!
