AUTHORITY WORD STUDY

1.   Submit, submitting, submission:

a.   hupeiko=to give in to; to yield to or under; a battle after which one

     yields; discussion and interchange after which one party gives way.(I

     Corinthians 16:16; Ephesians 5:21-22; Colossians 3:18; Hebrews 13:17;

     James 4:7; I Peter 2:13, 5:5)

b.   hupotasso=to wet in array under; placing oneself in an organization under another person-Government-Romans 13:1; Titus 3:1 Social Roles-Colossians 3:18; I Peter 2:18; Powers-I Peter 2:17

 

2.  Subject, subjection:

a.   hupotasso=to set in array under(I Peter 3:1,5; 5:5; I Timothy 2:11; 3:4)

b.   enochos=held in, subject to or liable to(Hebrews 2:15)

 

3.   Obey, obedience:
