PRAYERS BY GROUPS OF BELIEVERS

1.      Acts 1:14 “These(11 disciples)all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, with his brethren.

2.      Acts 1:24 “And they(all disciples)prayed and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou has chosen.

3.      Acts 2:1 “And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all(120)with one accord in one place.

4.      Acts 2:42 “And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and   fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.  

5.      Acts 4:23-31 “And when they heard that(not to speak or teach the name of Jesus), they lifted up their voice to god with one accord.  

6.      Acts 6:6 “Whom they(seven)set before the apostles: and when they(apostles) had prayed, they laid their hands on them.  

7.      Acts 12:5 “Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.    

8.      Acts 12:12 “And when he(Peter)had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.

9.      Acts 13:3 “And when they(5 prophets and teachers)had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.  

10.  Acts 16:25 “And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God;”

11.  Acts 20:36 “And when he(Paul) had thus spoke, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all.

12.  Acts 21:5 “And when we had accomplished those days(in Tyre, Syria) we departed and went our way; and they all brought us on our way, with wives and children, till we were out of the city: and we kneeled down on the shore, and prayed.

13.  I Corinthians 11:4a, 5aEvery man prayingEvery woman prayeth.  

14.  I Corinthians 14:14-15, 28 “For if I pray in a tongue, my spirit prayeth…I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also. But if there be no interpreter, let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God.

15.  I Thessalonians 5:17Pray without ceasing.

16.  I Timothy 2:8 “I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

17.  James 5:14 “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders o the church: and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up;

18.  Jame 5:16Pray one for another.

19.  Jude 20 “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
