3:7 “God first reveals His secrets(sod=counsel)
unto His servants the prophets.” I
Corinthians 14:25 “Thus are the secrets(kruptos=concealed,
hidden) of his heart made manifest; so falling down on his face he will
worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth.” I. PROPHET Hebrew chozeh = a

prophet, public expounder; one who speaks forth by the Spirit of
God; one who declares things before they come to pass,

Matthew 7:15
“Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s

PROPHESY
Hebrew: naba = to prophesy, flow forth
Greek: propheteuo = to prophesy, public expounding Prophesying by the Spirit of God; one who
declares things before they come to pass, fore-announcing; the out
speaker; one who speaks out the counsel of God with clearness and
authority with a direct message from God to deliver it.

Luke 1:67 “And his(John the
Baptist) father Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied.”

John 11:51 “And this spake
he(Caiaphas) not of himself; but being high priest that year, he prophesied
that Jesus should die for that nation; and not for that nation only, but
that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were
scattered abroad.” 3.
Acts 2:17-18
“And it shall come to pass in the last days saith God, I will pour out
of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of

Acts 19:6 “And when Paul
had laid his hands upon them(12 Ephesian disciples), the Holy Ghost came

evangelist, which was one of the seven; and abode with him. And the same man had four daughters, virgins, which did prophesy.”

II Peter 1:20-21
“Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any
private interpretation. For
