WARNINGS ABOUT FALSE DOCTRINES
1.
Matthew 7:15-20 “Beware of false prophets, which come to
you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
Ye shall know them by their fruits.
Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even
so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth evil
fruit. Wherefore by their fruits
ye shall know them.”
2.
Matthew 24:11” And many false prophets shall rise, and
shall deceive many.”
3.
Mark 13:22-23 “For false Christs and false prophets
shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if
it were possible, even the elect. But
take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.”
4.
II Peter 2:1-2 “But there were false prophets also among
the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily
shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them,
and bring upon themselves a swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of
whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.”
5.
I John 4:1 “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits
whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into
the world. Hereby knew ye the
Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the
flesh is of God: And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus
Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of
antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already
is it in the world.”
6.
Revelation 20:10 “And the devil that deceived them was cast
into the lake of fire and
brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be
tormented day and night for ever and ever.”
