MEN OF FAITH

1.      Noah(Genesis 8 &9) The people saw a flood but Noah saw an ark of safety!

2.      Abraham(Genesis 22:1-14) The servants saw death but Abraham saw God’s provision!

3.      Caleb(Exodus 13:30-33) Israel saw giants and Caleb saw grasshoppers!

4.      Joshua(Joshua 6-27) The army saw an insurmountable wall but Joshua saw the wall falling down!

5.      Elisah(II Kings 6:12-17) The prophet’s servant saw the enemy encamped about but the prophet Elisha saw angels and chariots of fire!

6.      Isaiah(Isaiah 6:1f) The people saw King Uzziah’s untimely death but Isaiah saw the Lord high and lifted up!

7.      King Nebuchadnezzare(Daniel 3:1-30) The kings men saw a consuming fire but King Nebuchadnezzare saw the fourth man like unto the Son of God!

8.      Daniel(Daniel 6:1-28) King Darius saw death by lions but Daniel saw an angel!

9.      Jesus(John 11) Family and friends saw Lazarus as dead but Jesus saw Lazarus resurrected!

10.  Peter & John(Acts 3) People as a cripple but Peter and John saw him healed!

11.  James(Acts 12:2) King Herod saw James killed on earth by a sword but James saw a martyrs crown in heaven!

12.  John(Revelation 1) John’s enemies saw him as a lonely exile on Patmos but John saw himself as a joyous worshipper at Jesus’ feet!

13.  Stephen(Acts 6-7) Stephen’s accusers saw him dying by stoning but Stephen saw Jesus standing at the Father’s right hand!

14.  Ananias(Acts 9:10-19) The disciples saw Saul as an enemy of Christ but Ananias saw him as a chosen vessel of God!

15.  Paul(Acts 27:21-25) The crew saw a shipwreck but Paul saw an angelic rescue!

16.  Barnabas(Acts 9:26-27) The apostles saw Saul as an enemy but Barnabus saw Paul as friend of the faith!
