HEAVEN IS LIKE GOING HOME!
John 14:1-3

INTRODUCTION

When I think of heaven, I think of home!  Jesus called it His Father’s house and He assured us that there is room enough for all of us to live together there eternally.

MAIN BODY

1.         Home is where you are with family! (Father, Mother, Siblings, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, Cousins)

2.         Home is where you are safe and secure! (Lights on porch)

3.         Home is where there is always room for more! (Overnight pallets)

4.         Home is where you are always welcome! (White rags on the tree)

5.         Home is where you can talk and share! (Sitting on the front porch)

6.         Home is where you can laugh and cry! (Family stories)

7.         Home is where you can eat and fellowship! (Granny’s table)

CONCLUSION

How do we get to go home?  Jesus said that it is through Him: He is the Way.  In death we have life eternally at home with the Lord. (Jesus, behold my mother)
