BIBLICAL ILLUSTRATIONS OF FAITH:

JESUS

John 5:19-20, 30 “The Son can do nothing of himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.  For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.  I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.”

John 6:57 “As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father; so he that eateth me, even he shall live by me.”

John 8:28, 38 “I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.  I speak that which I have seen with my Father.”

John 10:30 “I and my Father are one.”

John 11:41-42 “Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.  And I knew that thou hearest me always.”

John 12:50 “Whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.”

John 14:10-12 “Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?  The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.  Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do: because I go unto my Father.”

John 15:15 “I have called you friends: for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.”
