LITTLE FAITH vs. UNBELIEF

Definitions: Greek for “little faith” = oligopistos = little of faith

                                            “unbelief” = apeitheia  = distrust

LITTLE FAITH”:

1.   Matthew 6:30 “Will He not more clothe ye, O ye of little faith?”

2.   Matthew 8:20 “Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?”

3.   Matthew 14:31 “O ye of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?”

4.   Matthew 17:20; Luke 17:6 “If ye have faith as a grain of mustard…”

5.   Luke 12:28 “How much more you, O ye of little faith.”

 

UNBELIEF”:

1.   Matthew 13:38 “Not many works there because of unbelief.”

2.   Matthew 17:20 “Because of your unbelief.”

3.   Mark 6:6 “He marveled because of their unbelief.

4.   Mark 9:24 “Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.”

5.   Mark 16:14 “Jesus upbraided them with their unbelief.”
