GOD WILL BUILD HIS HOUSE

I CHRONICLES 12:1-17:25*

DAVID HAD TO GO THROUGH THE FIRE OF GOD’S REFINEMENT!

Saul haunted and hunted David to destroy him with soulish and demonic attacks:

I Samuel 16:23 “And it came to pass, when the evil spirit (ruach breath, life, spirit, wind) from God (Elohiym supreme God, exceeding God, mighty) was upon Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his hand: so Saul was refreshed (ravach breathe freely, revive, refreshed) and was well (tob be better, cheer, well, good), and the evil spirit (ra’ raah bad, evil, adversity, affliction, calamity, distress, evil, misery, sorrow, trouble, wicked, wretchedness;) departed from him (sur sur turn off, depart, remove, withdraw) .”

I Samuel 18:29 “And Saul was yet (‘od’od continuance, again, repeatedly, still more, again) the more afraid (yasaph to add, to continue, get more, increase more and more, prolong; yare to fear, afraid, dread) of David; and Saul became David’s enemy continually (‘oyeb ‘oyeb hating, adversary, enemy, foe; kol kol altogether, everything, hence all, whatsoever) .”

I Samuel 19:1 “And Saul spake to Jonathan his son, and to all his servants, that they should kill (muth to kill, be dead, put to death, destroy, cause to die, slay) David.”

I Samuel 19:9-10 “And the evil spirit (ra’ raah bad, evil, affliction, distress, trouble, sorrow, vex, wicked, wretchedness; ruach same as above) from the Lord (Yehovah same as above) was upon (motion towards, near, with, against, upon) Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with this hand.  And Saul sought to smite (nakah to strike, kill, slaughter, murder, slaughter, slay, smite) David even to the wall with the javelin; but he slipped away (patar slip away) out of Saul’s presence, and he smote the javelin in the wall: and David fled (nus vanish away, flee), and escaped (mallet to escape, slip out, leap out) that night.”

Examples of Old Testament and New Testament servant leaders experienced refining fire:

Abraham -

Genesis 12:1-5 “Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out (halak to walk, depart, away, move self, run along, speedily) of thy country (‘erets land, country), and from thy kindred, (moledeth birth place, native country, family) and from thy father’s house,(bayith house, family)  unto a land (‘erets same as above) that I will shew thee  (raah cause to see, gaze, look on, provide,    show):”

(thalassa the sea)

And I John (Ioannes Joannes, John) saw (eido to see, to know, behold, look on, be sure) the holy city (hagios sacred, pure, blameless, holy; polis city with walls), New Jerusalem (kainos Same as above; Hierousalem Jerusalem), coming down (katabaino to descend, down) from God (theos deity, supreme Divinity, Hebraism very God) out of heaven, (ek ex denoting origin, the point motion or action proceeds, from out; ouranos same as above) prepared (hetoimazo to prepare, provide, make ready) as a bride (numphe to veil as a bride, wife) adorned (kosmeo to put in proper order, decorate, adorn, garnish) for her husband (amer a man, individual male, husband) .”

Ezekiel –

Ezekiel 37:1-10 “The hand (yad a hand, the open one, indicating power, means, direction) of the Lord (Yehovah self Existent or eternal, Jehovah, Jewish national name of God, Lord) was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones (male full, fullness, fully, filled; ‘etsem a bone, bones),  and caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many (rab abundant, abound, exceedingly, many) in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry (yabesh dry, dried away).  And he said unto me, Son of man (ben a son; Adam ruddy, human being, man, mankind), can these bones live (‘etsem Same as above) elleh these, such; chayah revive, make alive, give life, restore to life)?  And I answered, O Lord (adonay the Lord, my Lord, used as a proper name of God only) God, (Yehovih God) thou knowest (yada to know, ascertain by seeing).

Again he said unto me, Prophesy (naba prophesy, speak) upon (‘al over, upon) these bones (‘etsem Same as above), and say unto them (‘amar to say, declare, tell, demand, charge, challenge), O ye dry bones (yabesh Same as above; ‘estem Same as above), hear (shama to hear intelligently, attention, obedience, give ear, understand) the word (dabar a word, a matter as spoken of, decree) of the Lord (Yehovah self Existent, eternal, Jehovah, Jewish national name of God, Lord).  Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath (ruach wind, breath, life) to enter into you (bo to come, abide, to come upon), and ye shall live (chayah to live, revive, alive, give life, quicken, restore to life, be whole): And I will lay (nathan give, put, bestow, bring forth, restore) sinews upon you (giyd tendon, sinew), and will bring up (alah cause to, bring up, restore)  flesh upon you (basar flesh, skin), and cover you with skin (qaram to cover; ‘or skin, hide), and put breath in you (ruach wind, breath, life), and ye shall live (chayah to live, revive, make alive nourish up, quicken, recover, restore life); and ye shall know (yada to know, ascertain by seeing, acknowledge, discern, be sure, of a surety, understand) that I am the Lord (Yehovah self Existent, eternal, Jehovah, Jewish national name of God, Lord).

So, I prophesied (naba to prophesy, speak by inspiration, prediction) as I was commanded (tsavah enjoined, appoint, charge, command): and as I prophesied (naba Same as above), there was a noise (qol qol to call aloud, voice, sound, crackling, noise), and behold a shaking (raash vibration, uproar, commotion, noise, quaking, rattling, shaking), and the bones came together, (‘estem Same as above; qarab bring near, cause to bring forth, join) bone to his bone (‘estem Same as above).  And when I beheld, lo, the sinews (giyd a tendon, sinew) and the flesh (basar flesh, body, flesh, skin) came upon them (alah to ascend, fall upon, restore, recover), and the skin covered them above (‘or skin, hide; qaram to cover; maal upper part, from the top, above): but there was no breath in them (‘ayin nothing, not exist, no, none, without).

Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind (naba to prophesy), prophesy (naba Same as above), son of man, and say to the wind (‘amar to say, charge, speak; ruach wind, breath, life, spirit), thus saith the Lord God (‘amar Same as above; ‘adonoy Lord, proper name of God only, my Lord;Yehovih God); Come from the four winds (bo’ to come, abide, bring forth, come upon, be fallen; ‘arba’ arba’ah), O breath, (ruach wind, breath, life, spirit, wind) and breathe upon (nahach to puff, blow, hard, breath) these slain (harag to smite, destroy, kill, murder, put to death, death ), that they may live (chayah to live, revive, make alive, give life, quicken, restore to life, be whole).

So I prophesied (naba Same as above) as he commanded me, (tsavah charge, command, set in order) and the breath came into them (ruach wind, breath, spirit; bo to come, abide, to come in, enter in), and they lived, (chayah to live, revive, make alive, give life, restore to life, be whole) and stood up upon their feet, (‘amad to stand, raise up, made to stand, stand up, a foot as used in walking, stay up; regel a foot, be able to endure, ) an exceeding great army (me’od wholly, speedily, exceedingly, great, mighty; chayil a force, an army, valor, strength, soldiers, great company, might, strong, trained, valor, war).”
