DEFINITION:

Spirit- Greek pneuma, meaning wind, breath

Soul-   Greei psuche meaning animal soul; natural life of the

body; invisible part of man; seat of mind, will and

emotions.

Body-  Greek soma meaning body as a whole; physical

SPIRIT, SOUL & BODY:

1)        I John 3:9 “Whosoever is born of God, His seed remaineth in him.”

2)        Hebrews 4:12 “Dividing asunder of soul and spirit.”

3)        I Thessalonians 5:23 “The very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit, soul, body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
