Now unto God (theos = Deity, supreme Divinity, God) and our Father (pater = father) be glory forever and ever (doxa = glory, dignity, honor, praise, worship; aion = an age, perpetuity, eternal, forever, without end).  Amen (amen  = firm, trustworthy, surely, so be it).”

I Thessalonians 5:12-14 “And we beseech you (erotao = request, ask, beseech, desire, entreat, pray), brethren (adelphos = the womb,  brother), to know them (eido = to know, be aware, perceive, be sure, understand) which labor among you (kopiao = to feel fatigue, to work hard, labor, toil, be wearied), and are over you (proistemi = to stand before) in the Lord (kurios = supreme in authority, controller, God, Lord, Master), and admonish (noutheteo = to put in mind, caution, reprove gently, warn, admonish) you; And to esteem (hegeomai to lead, deem, consider, count them, think) them very highly (huper = over, above, beyond, very highly) in love (agape = affection, love) for their work’s sake (ergon = to work, toil, act, deed, labor).  And be at peace (eireneuo = to be peaceful, live peaceably) among yourselves.  Now we exhort (parakaleo = to call near, invite, invoke implore console, beseech, comfort, entreat, exhort) you, brethren (adelphos = the womb, a brother), warn (noutheteo = put in mind, to caution, reprove gently, admonish, warn) them that are unruly (ataktos = insubordinate, unarranged, unruly), comfort (paramutheomai = to relate near, encourage, console, comfort) the feebleminded (oligopsuchos = faint hearted, feebleminded), support the weak (antechomai = adhere, to care for, support; asthenes = strengthless, feeble, impotent, sick, without strength, weak), be patient (makrothumeo = to be long spirited, forbearing, patient, suffer long, longsuffering, endure) toward all men (pas = all, any, every, the whole, whosoever).”

James 2:15-17If (ean = condition, in case that, provided) a brother or sister (adelphos = the womb, a brother; adelphe = a sister) be naked (bumnos = nude, naked), and destitute (leipo = to leave, to fail, be absent, wanting, lack, destitute) of daily food (ephemeros = for a day, daily; trophe = nourishment, rations, food, meat).  And one of you say (epo to speak, say by word or writing, answer, tell) unto them, Depart in peace (hupago = withdraw or retire sinking out of sight, depart, go away; eirene = peace, prosperity), be ye warmed and filled (thermaino = to heat oneself, be warm; chortazo = to gorge, supply food in abundance, feed, fill, satisfy); notwithstanding ye give them not (didomi = to give, minister) those things which are needful (epitedeios = things which are needful, enough) to the body (soma = body, as a sound whole); what doth it profit (ophelos = to heap up, accumulate or benefit, gain, advantage, profit)?  Even so faith (pistis persuasion, conviction, assurance, belief, faith), if it hath not works (ergon = to work, toil, deed, doing, labor), is dead (faith), (nekros = a corpse, dead) being alone (kata = alone, apart).”

I John 3:16-18Hereby perceive we (ginosko = to know, perceive, be sure, understand) the love of God (agape = affection, love; theos = Deity, supreme Divinity, God), because he laid down (tithemi = lay down) his life for us (psuche = breath, life): and we ought to lay down our lives (opheilo opehileo = owe, to be under obligation, ought; thiemi = lay down; psuche = spirit, breath, life) for the brethren (adelphos = the womb, a brother).  But whoso hath this world’s good (kosmos = world; bios = livelihood, good, life, living), and seeth (theoreo = to be a spectator, behold, look on, see) his brother (adelphos = the womb, a brother)  have need (chreia = destitution, lack, need, want), and shutteth up (kleio = to close, shut up) his bowels of compassion (splagchnon = an intestine, pity, sympathy, bowels, affection, tender mercy) from him, how dwelleth (meno = to stay, abide, dwell) the love of God (agape = love, affection, benevolence; theos  = Deity, Supreme Divinity, God) in him?  My little children (teknion = infant, darlings, little children), let us not love in word (agapao = to love, much; logos = word, talk, speech, utterance), neither in tongue (glossa = tongue, language); but in deed (ergon = work, toil, deed, doing) and in truth (aletheia = truth).”
