Convict

1.      John 16:8 “When the Holy Spirit is come, He will reprove (elegoho=expose, convict, convince, rebuke) the world (kosmos=present condition unbelieving humanity, alienate from and opposed to God) of sin (hamartia=missing mark, falling short, transgression, crookedness, going astray) and of righteousness (dikaiosune=character or quality of being right or holy which is Christ’s righteousness) and of judgment (krisis=separating, and then a decision, God’s judgment).

Reveal

1.      I Corinthians 12:3 “No man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.”

2.      Matthew 16:17 “Flesh and blood hath not revealed (apokalupto= uncover, unveil) it unto thee (Simon), but my Father which is in heaven.”

Regenerate

1.           John 3:3, 5, 7 “Except a man be born again, (palingenesis=new birth of the Spirit)…Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit…Ye must be born again.”

2.           Titus 3:5 “No by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Ghost.”

1.       John 14:16 “The Father shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide (meno=to dwell, remain) with you forever; even the Spirit of truth.”

Indwell

1.       John 7:38-39 “He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living waters…(But his sake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)”

2.       John 14:17 “For he dwelleth(meno=to remain)with you, and shall be in you.”

3.       Romans 8:9 “But ye are not of the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in (oikeo=to use or have a house) you.   Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His.”

Sanctify

1.       I Corinthians 6:11 “Ye are washed, ye are sanctified, ye are justified (dikaioo=to make or declare right)in the name of our Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.”

Anoint

1.       Romans 8:15 “Ye have received the Spirit of adoption (huiothesia=placing as a son), whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

Teach

1.      John 14:26 “The Holy Ghost shall teach (didasko=to teach)you all things…”

2.      I Corinthians 2:13 “The Holy Ghost teacheth (didaktos=taught).”

3.      I John 2:27 “But the anointing which ye have received of Him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach (didasko=to teach)you: but as the same anointing teacheth (didasko=to teach)you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught (didasko=to teach)you, ye shall abide in Him.”

Assures
