Man: evangelistes meaning messenger of “Good News;” announcer of “Good Tidings.”

Message: evaggelion meaning the Gospel or “Good News.”

Ministry: evaggelizo meaning to announce “Good News.”

 

Practical Application

Evangelists are ones who effectively share, proclaim and announce the Gospel, which is the “good news” message to the unsaved so that they respond in salvation, discipleship and then equipping them to become effective witnesses.
