- Acts
13:1-4 “Now there were in the church that was at
Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was
clled Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up
with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul. As they ministered to the Lord, and
fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work
whereunto I have called them. And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid
their hands on them, they sent them away. So they, being sent forth by the
Holy Ghost, departed…”

15:35-36 “Paul also and Barnabas continued in
Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others
also. And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and
visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the
Lord, and see how they do…”

16:6-11 “Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia
and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Ghost to preach
the word in Asia, After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into
Bithynia: but the Spirit suffered them not. And they passing by Mysia came
down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a
man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help
us. And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavored to go into
Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the
