CONDITION OF THE HEART

1.      Genesis 8:21 “The imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth;”

2.      Psalms 17:3 “Thou hast proved mine heart; thou hast visited me in the night; thou hast tried me, and shalt find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.”

3.      Psalms 19:14 “Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.”

4.      Psalms 26:2 “Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.”

5.      Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.”

6.      Psalms 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

7.      Psalms 139:23 “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

8.      Psalms 147:3 “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”

9.      Proverbs 4:23 “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.”

10.  Proverbs 12:20 “Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counselors of peace is joy.”

11.  Jeremiah 17:9-10 “The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked: who can know it?  I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.”

12.  Jeremiah 24:7 “And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the Lord: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.”

13.  Jeremiah 32:39-40  “And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, and they shall not depart from me.”

14.  Jeremiah 31:33 “But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.”

15.  Ezekiel 36:25-27 “I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye will be clean; from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.  A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.  And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statues, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.”
