GREEK:
mystery musterio = what is known only to the
initiated; a secret; a mystery; a fact or truth that man is unable to
discover by himself; a fact or truth that has to be revealed to man; some
truth that was not previously known; some truth that could not be
discovered by human reason; some truth that had to be revealed by God if
it were ever to be known.
- Deuteronomy 29:29 “The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those
things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever,
that we may do all the words of this law.”
- Psalms 25:14 “The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he
will shew them his covenant.”
- Psalms 31:20 “Thou shalt hide them in the secret of thy presence from
the pride of man: thou shall keep them secretly in a pavillion
from the strife of tongues.”
- Psalms 91:1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High
shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
- Proverbs 3:32 “His secret is with the righteous.”
- Isaiah 45:3 “And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden

Lord, which call thee by they name, am the God of Israel.”
- Daniel 2:22, 28 “He revealth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is
in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
There is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets.”
- Amos 3:7 “Surely the Lord God will do nothing but, he revealeth his

- Matthew 6:6 “Pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father
which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”
