STAND/STANDING

Greek: stand=histemi=to set, place

steko=to stand firm

1.         Romans 5:2 “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand(histemi), and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

2.         Romans 11:20 “Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest(histemi) by faith.  Be not high-minded, but fear:”

3.         Romans 14:4 “Who art thou that judgest another man’s servant? To his own master he standeth or falleth.  Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand(steko).”

4.         I Corinthians 10:12 “Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth(histemi) take heed lest he fall.”
