Acts 19:9-10 |
BACKGROUND
INFORMATION
In 1976, the Lord directed me by His Spirit to
begin making Biblical studies on many different
subjects. From the very first study He gave me
until the present time, these studies now number
in the hundreds. The Lord’s instructions were
for me not to make this study a
commentary on Scripture but rather simply record
His Word from Genesis to Revelation on the
specifically instructed subjects He gave me.
The Lord said that on any given subject, there
is a thread that is woven through the Bible from
Genesis to Revelation, which reveals His whole
counsel. We are not to “pick and choose” but
rather take the Word in its entirety from
beginning to end.
The Lord instructed me that His Spirit was to be
the primary Teacher and revealer of truth
according to the following Scriptures:
I John 2:20, 27
“But ye have an unction from the Holy One,
and ye know all things. But the anointing
which ye have received of Him abideth in
you, and ye need not that any man teach you:
but as the same anointing teacheth you of
all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and
even as He hath taught you, ye shall abide
in Him.”
John 14:26
“But the Comforter, who is the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name, He
shall teach you all things, and bring all
things to your remembrance, whatsoever I
have said unto you.”
John 17:17, 19
“Sanctify them through Thy truth: they word
is truth. And for their sakes I sanctify
myself, that they also might be sanctified
through the truth.”
The Lord also instructed me that His Word was
perfectly balanced and had no contradictions.
And for every teaching in Scripture there is a
balanced teaching. He said that His Word is a
“plumb-line” of perfect and balanced Truth with
two ditches on either side: Legalism and
License. He further told me that the Bible is
the best commentary on the Bible and that the
truth of His written Word can only be
interpreted by the revelation of His Spirit.
It is my heart’s desire to continue to be
obedient to the Lord’s calling upon my life as a
“sent forth one” to the nations of the world to
train via Internet other Ephesians 4:11 servants
(apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and
teachers) who in turn will “equip the saints for
the work of ministry” in His Kingdom.
